The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday filed a status report on the progress of the probe in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case in which former Gujarat minister and Narendra Modi's close aide Amit Shah has been arrested.Apex court sources said that CBI officials had submitted the report in a sealed cover to the Registry.The other main accused in the case are suspended Deputy Inspector General D G Vanzara and Rajkumar Pandian, both Gujarat cadre IPS officers.
